How to do it
- 01
Work on a copy with three rows
Freeze a header. Put three real or realistic rows on a copy, not the only copy.
- 02
Name columns by letter and header
Example: column C is the price, column D is the tax rate as a percent, column E should show the price including tax.
- 03
Ask for one formula and one sentence
Ask Gemini, in the Gemini app or in the Sheets side panel if your account shows it. ChatGPT is a fine substitute. Ask what the formula does.
- 04
Check three rows by hand
Put the formula in one cell. Compare it to a hand calculation. Then fill down.
